MASON COUNTY GETS CTED DOLLARS - Money to help the Skokomish Indian Tribe conduct a feasibility study in Mason County for a marina with fuel services on Hood Canal is on the list Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board announced. The board announced some $750,000 will go toward creating new jobs and boosting business growth across the state. $50,000 will do feasibility work for the Skokomish project. The tribe recently purchased a waterfront resort in Potlatch as part of a tourism development plan. "We can help to build the economy of local communities by supporting key infrastructure improvements," said Gov. Chris Gregoire. "These are sound investments in the future of our state."
