Brett loved his office, especially the aquarium he made out of the new computer monitor lovingly placed in his office by the company’s IT mavens. Brett’s atavism was blatantly on display for any technology-savvy employee to see: a 1947 Royal-Standard typewriter, which had the name “Betsy,” and was referred to as an instant print-out word processor.
