Inviolable•
\in-VYE-uh-luh-bul\ • adjective – 1: secure from violation or profanation *2:
secure from assault or trespass: unassailable
Gaston
was horrified by his morning discovery. He though that his seven-foot fence
around his prize rose bushes would make them inviolable to deer. It was a
foolproof solution he thought. Until he discovered that fools are quite
ingenious. The deer had apparently created a “deer pyramid” to get over the
fence. Unfortunately for them (and fortunately for the local Nimrod Club) the
wily ruminants had not figured how to get out again after wreaking their havoc.

LINKS & PAYWALL ADVISORY
All
the links in today’s news digest lead to current stories. Please note that some
media organizations update their web sites regularly, which may result in
broken links in the future.
Note
that as some newspapers migrate to a “paywall” system of access, some articles
may not be available without forking over some cold hard credit card cash.
However, some sites will allow a certain number of story accesses per month
before holding out their hand. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.
