WORD OF THE DAY
Linchpin /LINCH-pin/ Noun – 1: a locking pin inserted
crosswise (as through the end of an axle or shaft) 2: one that serves to hold
together parts or elements that exist or function as a unit
I love the movie “Polar Express.” However, with some
judicious editing of a LOT of padding, the movie would probably last only an
hour. Examples include the Rube Goldberg cycle of the wind-blown and bird
vomited ticket, or the lost linchpin scene.
