Arturo considered himself the pre-eminent prothalamion performer in the greater Matlock area of Mason County. With his $59 Casio Keyboard and syndrum machine, he would sing just about any song requested by the wedding couple. However, he drew the line at Michael Stookey’s “Wedding Song.”

Acronyms and specialized concepts rolled out the door behind her, somewhat like “Fibber McGee’s Closet.” The colloquial onset was dulled somewhat by a quick “break” at the nearby pub, where a pint of ale replaced her mental confusion with more of a physical one.
