Eidetic
• \eye-DET-ik\ • adjective - Marked by or involving extraordinarily accurate
and vivid recall especially of visual images
At
once a blessing and a curse, Marco’s eidetic memory was the wonder of the
manufacturing floor at Barty’s “Eclectic Tiddlywinks Factory.” Although Marco
could recall in intricate detail the texture, color, even the smell of each
tiddlywink that he inspected for final shipping…that was the ONLY thing he
could recall, which made his talent slightly less impressive to tiddlywink “outsiders.”

LINKS & PAYWALL ADVISORY
All
the links in today’s news digest lead to current stories. Please note that some
media organizations update their web sites regularly, which may result in
broken links in the future.
Note
that as some newspapers migrate to a “paywall” system of access, some articles
may not be available without forking over some cold hard credit card cash.
However, some sites will allow a certain number of story accesses per month
before holding out their hand. Sorry if this is an inconvenience.
