Amelia stared out the window, the darkness of acedia overcoming her growing weariness with the ongoing chatter of her fellow workers who were in the ascending phase of a sugar high, fueled by toroidal-shaped, doughy pastries. Instead of focusing on the intricacies of filling out form 1524-B-ACE, she was flitting away from consciousness on a rainbow-colored unicorn.
