WORD OF THE DAY

Otiose • \OH-shee-ose \ • adjective – 1: producing no useful result: futile 2: being at leisure: idle 3: lacking use or effect: functionless

Bert was becoming extremely frustrated with his purchase. It became exceeding obvious to him after 30 seconds of bailing, that a papier mache bucket was the most otiose object in his rowboat. Perhaps less useful than the sunscreen he insisted on bringing into the gales of winter on Puget Sound.
