WORD OF THE DAY

Unwieldy • \un-WEEL-dee\ • Adjective - Not easily managed, handled, or used (as because of bulk, weight, complexity, or awkwardness): cumbersome.

The tall ship’s crew had all they could handle. One of the cannons had sprung from its carriage and began rolling across the deck, its vast weight and bulk turning into a mindless, unwieldy thing…bouncing on its trunnions; thumping its way from gunwale to gunwale as the ship tossed across the green, frothy waves that drenched the seamen each time they got close to securing the pig-headed piece of brass.
