SONG OF THE DAY

The Tornados – Telstar

Thomas Dolby - She Blinded Me with Science

I know that there is no blood relationship with Ray Dolby, but I couldn’t resist. From Thomas Dolby’s Wikipedia entry: The Thomas Dolby stage name originated from a nickname that he picked up around “the early 70s”, when he was “always messing around with keyboards & tapes”. His friends nicknamed him Dolby, from the name of an audio noise-reduction process from Dolby Laboratories used for audio recording & playback.
