After a yearlong road trip with the presidential candidate, the entire press corps looked like a tribe of tatterdemalions, their Armani suits frayed, collars worn, hair mussed due to so many airport haircuts. “Please sir, may we have some more pithy quotes?” The example sentence then goes on from there, wallowing in a Dickensian sewer of self-loathing. Must…stop….before…I….go….on….
