Energy News Digest for July 3, 2019

Programming Note: The Energy News Digest will be recumbent from gastronomic overindulgence during the Independence Day holiday. It will return relaxed and purged, Monday, July 8. May your holiday this year be patriotic, reflective of the meaning of the event…and not the players.

The Energy News Digest is available online. The Hot Shots edition is available on Facebook, and on Twitter.

WORD OF THE DAY

Sedulous \SEDGE-uh-luss\ Adjective – 1: involving or accomplished with careful perseverance 2: diligent in application or pursuit

Dilton’s sedulous skill at tiddlywinks preceded him. With a chip on his shoulder, he strode purposefully into the arena at the national grand-am tournament in Sioux Falls. His flinty stare took in the room, his opponents wavering in their resolve. “This one is for all the marbles,” he muttered to himself. This was literally true. The grant prize of the tournament was a jar of marbles hastily purchased from the Dollar General store down the street.
