WORD OF THE DAY

Canorous • \kuh-NORE-us\ • Adjective - Pleasant sounding: melodious.

“Cellar door, elbow, dwarfish” the words flowed easily off the tongue of the amateur hypnotist, his canorous voice mouthing nonsensical words to his subject, a non-English speaking immigrant from Kyrgyzstan. Unfortunately for the unlucky traveler, several combinations of English words unwittingly sounded like “you will quack like a duck for the rest of your life when you see French fries at McDonalds.” The results, of course, were disastrous.
