WORD OF THE DAY

Topiary • \TOPE-pee-err-ee\ • Adjective - Of, relating to, or being the practice or art of training, cutting, and trimming trees or shrubs into odd or ornamental shapes; also: characterized by such work.

Nigel was the perfect choice for the landscaping job at the Bamsforth-Duddle-Branxton estates in the remote “Lakes District” of England. Not only was he skilled at shaping boxwood into the most amazing topiary shapes…he truly reflected his work. His amazing shock of hair was the “test bed” for many of his creations; billowing, flowing shapes, creatures and various designs appeared on his raven locks before he took the sharp, shiny shears to the shrubbery.
